EUHealthGov: ‘Public Health, Markets, and Law’, a Symposium in the Journal of Law, Medicine & Ethics

This video features the launch event for the Symposium Public Health, Markets and Law, published in the Journal of Law, Medicine & Ethics in late 2025 and guest edited by Dr Mina Hosseini and Professor Imelda Maher of University College Dublin. Originally held on Tuesday 24 February 2026, the seminar brought together the guest editors and contributing authors to discuss their work and explore the complex intersections between public health, market dynamics and legal frameworks in Europe, the EU and beyond. The speakers highlight the key themes of the Symposium, examine current challenges in public health governance and reflect on how legal and market structures shape health outcomes across different contexts.
