Non Food Safe, Kintsugi-Derived Repair Using Epoxy and Faux Gold On a Broken Bonsai Pot

Kintsugi is the technique of reparing a broken item with laquer and gold. It has been used mainly for ceramic pieces and is sometimes used with other precious metals such as silver or platinum. This is a DIY technique that I researched and taught myself because I enjoy learning new things. It turned out to be a fun project and I am confident that I can replicate the results or even do a better job in the future. Follow along as I go through my first try at "cheap-sugi". *It may be in the title already, but it is worth clarifying that this is for non-edible uses such as the bonsai pot shown in the demonstration. Don’t eat or drink from bonsai pots repaired with this DIY technique. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Enjoy!
