Microscope on a milling machine used as an optical comparator... It works...!!!

An optical comparator in a fine precision measuring tool in a machine shop. Here I'm working on a proof of concept, using an electronic microscope to replace the optical comparator by using a milling machine equiped with a high quality DRO, let's see how we can make it possible and test how accurate it can be. My appreciation of this microscope is quite positive, the image quality is excellent. In order to get a better quality you would need to pay many times this price...!!!
