I originally just wanted to take a ride on a vintage train in Thailand, from Chiang Mai to Lamphun, to capture some street scenes. But the trip completely spiraled out of control. I met several strangers, shared rides, took photos together, ate strange "longan noodles" together, and even spontaneously wandered off to a place that looked a lot like Angkor Wat to take pictures. The strangest thing is—we didn't actually know each other at all. I only brought one camera for this video: a Sony RX100 M7. Small, lightweight, and requiring almost no thought, it was just right for capturing all the moments when "there wasn't time to think too much."
