This time, I started from Sendai, taking the Rikuu East Line to Naruko Gorge. I originally thought Naruko Gorge would be the main attraction, but what impressed me most during the trip was actually the two hours I spent waiting to transfer at Kogishida Station. No particular attractions, no special plans. Just sitting near the platform eating my bento, watching the trains come and go, feeling the slow pace of the Tohoku countryside. I brought my Sony RX100 VII to record the scenery along the way, and also wanted to see if Naruko Gorge, outside of autumn foliage season, was still worth a special trip.
