On June 11, 2026, numerous representatives and friends of the Jewish community gathered at the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community in Nuremberg for the sixth Bavaria-wide networking meeting on the topic of "Jewish Life in Bavaria." The meeting was hosted by Dr. Ludwig Spaenle, the Bavarian Commissioner for Jewish Life and the Fight against Antisemitism, and Dr. Rudolf Neumaier, Managing Director of the Bavarian State Association for Local Heritage Preservation. Key topics included the Bavarian Genizah Project, tourism and Jewish heritage, and intercultural exchange programs.
