Zogan is a decorative technique in which gold and silver are "shaped" and then "set" into different metals. Born into Nakajima Zogan, a company that continues to preserve traditional Kyoto zogan techniques, Nakajima apprenticed under his grandfather in 2002. In 2008, he became a "Certified Kyoto Craftsman."
