Rudy Sarzo talks about working with Randy Rhoads | MetalTalk

“40 years on it feels like a miracle," Rudy Sarzo told MetalTalk. "But it happened at the right time. Sometimes you can find peace with God and the universe at your lowest points and that is probably the most important moment that the door opens up into a new era. You’ll never achieve complete happiness until you find complete peace.” Guitarist Randy Rhoads died in a plane crash on 19 March 1982. “About 90% of what I know about the music industry," Rudy says, "I learned on that tour with Ozzy and Randy too because he mentored me. Randy was there for a year and a half when I joined the band.
