Video recorded 8/3/2026 Here is the lift in the red zone of London Heathrow Terminal 5 in Hounslow. Most of the lifts in Terminal 5 were likely built a few years before 2008 but weren't put into service until that year when the terminal officially opened. Lift information: Brand: Schindler Year built: 2005 Capacity: 4,000 kg / 53 persons Serial number: 5048733 Floors served: 4 (0, 1, 2, 3) For some reason, the emergency phone kept beeping for most of the time I was riding this lift. Perhaps someone pressed the alarm button for the required amount of time to activate the phone or there's a fault. Regardless, you must NOT press the alarm button in a lift unless it gets stuck.
