10mm: The Caliber the FBI Couldn't Handle

Jeff Cooper designed a 200-grain bullet at 1,000 fps. A medium-velocity combat round. Norma loaded it to 1,200 without asking. The FBI adopted the hot version, called it "the best law enforcement cartridge available," ordered 10,000 pistols, canceled after 2,400, and downloaded the round until it performed worse than a 40 S&W. Then the industry kept selling the downloaded version at full price for 30 years. A 180-grain 357 Magnum penetrates deeper than a 220-grain 10mm because of sectional density. A lever action 357 from an 18-inch barrel produces 60% more energy than a full-power 10mm from a Glock 20. And a bear on your chest can push a semi-auto slide out of battery. The reloaders already know all of this. This video is for everyone else. This video is for educational and entertainment purposes only.
