Basketball Defense & Footwork Drills | Hip Swivel, Anchor Step & Pocket Dribbles XrossOver Training

Week 18 Skills — reads, counters, and stopping on a dime. This session covers defensive high/low hands, hip swivel anchor step footwork, between the legs without dribbling to stay low, pocket dribbles at higher intensity, hip swivel reads against a defender or cone, defensive slides with arm action, behind the back through the knee bend to stay low, hip swivel anchor step between the legs, and the hockey stop. Most players don't know how to stop at full speed — this fixes that. This is Week 18 of the From the Ground Up 20-week basketball training program.
