DIY Nail File Keyring

Hi everybody, It’s a fun day in the studio today, we’re making a nail file nail…. Wrap your head around that one. I’ve got FLAT tips and my nail file stickers. I’m going to buff my nails first and then cut out my stickers just a little larger than the nail, to account for the curve. I’ll wipe over with clean up solution before sticking my sticker on. The edges are a little raised so I’m going to use base coat and a pinching tool to stick those down, one side at a time. I’ll try glue too, they both work. Once that’s all stuck I’m going to use a proper file to file the edges and make everything super neat. I’m going to use my e-file to drill a little hole in the nail file so I can get a key ring on there. I’m going to do a second nail which is half 180 grit and half 240 grit the same way as before. I’ll finish that one off with gems down the join line. And again, drill a hole. For my last nail file, I’m going to carefully rip the file paper off a proper file and use glue to stick it down after I cut out my nail shape. This did work but I think the file stickers are easier. I did try to do a buffer bit it’s too stretchy and the glue gets everywhere, don’t try it folks, it doesn’t work. I’ll finish them all off by attaching a little bit of chain from an old necklace and secure the chain with a bit of gem glue. Now they can go on my keys.
