Nail Product Crafts! Custom Jibbitz for my Crocs

Join this channel to get access to perks:    / @kirstymeakin   Hiya Duck! In today's video, we are getting crafty! Cause in today's video I’m gonna be making Jibbitz yano like Charms for ya Crocs? Well, we are going to be making Croc Jibbitz! Let’s Get Cracking! I’ll start by cutting my nail to shape using an old pair of nippers and then I’ll wazz over it with a file and then give it a buff then I’ll give it a clean over using clean-up solution on a lint-free pad. I'll pop my Nail onto Aleana hand and then using the white lightning Acrylic powder and my mr buttons brush I can place a bead at the free edge this will be the heel area of the croc and ill create the band where the heel of the foot would rest then ill place a bead at that contact area as if I were doing a smile line but the other way around and ill start to create the area where you would place your foot, then I can fill in the cuticle area and make that look like we can get some toes in there. I can add more product to the toe area to build up that shape when I’m happy with that I can add a beat to create the strap. After giving that a few minutes to dry I can start to file it using a 180 grit file just to reinforce the Croc shapes and then ill give it a buff over to smooth that out, when I have done that ill move over to my E-file where ill use the secret weapon bit and ill use that to open up some narrow areas and also to create the holes that you get in the top of you’re crocs. Now ill take My oynx ink with a touch of Acetone on my Adam 3D brush and ill start to create some darker areas then ill take some undiluted ink and place that on the nail to have a stronger contrast when I’m happy with the placement of the ink I can move on to Gems. I'll place a little bit of the Nailchemy crystal totals gem glue onto my pallet and then ill use that to adhere some microbes and crystals into the holes of my Croc Jibbitz so it's like my Jibbitz has Jibbitz! When I’m happy with the placement of my gems ill decant a little bit of the topcoat onto my pallet and then ill use the design needle end of my Pammy Picker Upper to place a little bit of topcoat over those gems and give that a cure. Not its time to attach this to one of the Jibbitz bases so I can attach it to my Croc ill give the base a file over to help the acrylic stick to it then ill use Glass slipper acrylic powder to fill in some of the space on the underside of my Croc then ill press the base into that acrylic and then ill place another bead just over the edges to hold that in place ill give that a minute to dry and then that’s it!
