Southern Pacfic 4449 Cascades Daylight Portland to Bend Excursion 4K
On June 24-25, 2017, Southern Pacific Daylight steam locomotive 4449 pulled an excursion from Portland to Bend, Oregon, and return. Our coverage begins with the pre-trip deadhead and switching of Friday, June 23. We followed the train on Saturday and Sunday, visiting scenic locations in the Columbia Gorge, Deschutes Canyon and the Crooked River bridge.
