This video captures the entire 70-minute performance in one continuous edit. As the “Continuation of the 20th Anniversary of Chikusei City,” the show featured a spectacular total of 20,001 fireworks plus twenty 10-inch shells, creating an unforgettable evening of light and sound. Thanks to the kind cooperation of the Chikusei City Commerce and Tourism Division, we were able to film from an ideal position once again this year. Unlike last year’s drizzle, this year’s weather was simply perfect — a gentle, favorable wind made every firework beautifully clear. One of the hallmarks of the Chikusei Fireworks Display is its three-direction synchronized finale, with three pyrotechnic companies launching simultaneously from separate sites. The final minute — an explosion of light from all directions — was breathtaking.
