WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A local event this weekend is tied into a national effort to put the brakes on data centers. A handful of people gathered in the rain in downtown wilkes-barre to participate in an AI Data Center National Day of Protest. Those on hand listened to several politicians and advocates who raised concerns about the rapid expansion of AI Data Centers.
