"Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku" (directed by Yuichi Fukuda, released February 7th), a live-action film adaptation of Fujita's popular manga starring actress Mitsuki Takahata and actor Kento Yamazaki, released a "Divine Song Medley PV" video on February 3rd, featuring plenty of behind-the-scenes footage of Takahata and Yamazaki's vocals. The 90-second video compiles Takahata recording "Hoshi yo Oshiete" and Yamazaki recording "Boku ni Nani Dekiru Darou," showcasing the pair's incredible vocal abilities. "Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku" is a manga serialized by Fujita on the manga and illustration sharing website pixiv and Ichijinsha's e-book service comic POOL. It was adapted into an anime in April 2018, and has sold over 8 million copies. It depicts the awkward romance between two otaku: Momose Narumi (Takahata), who hides her love for anime and manga, and Nifuji Hirotaka (Yamazaki), a handsome, capable professional but obsessive gamer. Director Fukuda has worked on many stage musicals, but this is his first attempt at a musical film. Also starring are Saito Takumi, Nanao, Kaku Kento, Muro Tsuyoshi, and Sato Jiro.
