De Wintertuin Makeover Begint | IKEA & Disneyland Paris

Today I am still alone in France, but instead of sitting still, I am finally going to do something I am really looking forward to: tackling our conservatory. Orlando returns in a few days, along with my mom and her boyfriend Werner, and then the real work begins. The conservatory is getting a new floor and will be painted. But this is also the only room in the apartment where I can really put my own spin on things and add my own style and taste. So I decide to go to IKEA right now for chairs… and of course, it doesn't stop there. I find chairs, flowerpots, plants, a plant rack, and even a small olive tree. At home, I assemble the chairs and get a small glimpse for the first time of what this space could become. Additionally, I also talk honestly about our new thumbnail style. I never really liked our old style, but I played the YouTube game with bright colors and harsh thumbnails. Now I am consciously choosing something that feels warmer, more authentic, and more like me. And because I still live right next to Disneyland Paris, I end the day with a quiet evening in the park. Dinner, a summer evening vibe, and two rides in a row on Les Pays des Contes de Fées.
