Reminiscence – Volunteers Spent 50 YEARS building Llangollen Railway – Episode 3
At Llangollen, we take pride in the efforts of the legendary volunteers that make our Railway happen. In the 50 Years since Llangollen Station was first reopened, our Volunteers have faced every hardship and danger imaginable. We were lucky to be able to get John Gwynne and Peter Neve together to film their chat. Between them these two have just shy of 100 Years of experience as tracklayers, guards and Civil Engineers, and they both continue to work at the Railway whenever they can.
