Comeng at 115km/h - Dandenong to Hallam - November 2014
A ride on a Melbourne Comeng set between Dandenong and Hallam, on the Pakenham line. The maximum line speed for this section is 115km/h, which is also the maximum permitted speed for a Comeng. At 01:37 we pass the junction for the Cranbourne line. To the right can be seen the Bombardier factory, complete with tram test track. This was formerly the Comeng factory, where this train was built. At 02:58 we pass the abandoned General Motors station, which closed to passengers in 2002. Filmed 29th of November 2014.
