Afghanistan veteran 'racked with profound sadness'
Afghanistan veteran Dan Jarvis MP says he is 'racked with profound sadness' by the events in the country. The Labour MP says "I had the honour of serving with Afghans in Helmand. They were our brothers-in-arms. I shudder to think where those men are now". He refers to President Biden's remarks about Afghan soldiers as "distasteful" and urges the government to show "generosity" towards refugees.
