Spotted this sweet family of geese out for a stroll, and yes, the babies were every bit as adorable as expected. A group of geese on the ground is called a gaggle, which feels very appropriate because they absolutely look like they’re holding a very serious family meeting while blocking traffic and judging everyone. Baby geese are called goslings, and they usually stay close to their parents for protection, warmth, and guidance. Goose parents are famously protective, so if you see a family like this, admire them from a safe distance. Mama and Daddy Goose do not play around. Tiny fluffy babies? Cute.
