Woori Church Daegu Chapel Sunday Sermon (https://woori.cc) Date: July 26, 2026 Title: Like the Stars in the Sky Text: Deuteronomy 1:9-18 Sermon: Pastor Kim Tae-hoon (https://dg.woori.cc) 9 Then I said to you, “I alone cannot bear your burdens. 10 The LORD your God has made you numerous, so that today you are as numerous as the stars in the sky. 11 May the LORD your God, the God of your ancestors, make you a thousand times more numerous than you are now, and bless you as He has promised you. 12 How then can I alone bear your afflictions, your heavy burdens, and your strife? 13 Choose from each of your tribes those who are wise and knowledgeable, whom I will appoint as your leaders.” 14 Then you answered me, “It is good to do as You have said.” Therefore, 15 I shall take wise and respected men from your tribes and appoint them as your leaders, appointing them, according to each tribe, commanders of thousands, commanders of hundreds, commanders of fifties, commanders of tens, and group leaders. 16 Then I shall command your judges, saying, “When you hear a case among your brothers, you shall render a fair judgment on both sides, and you shall do the same with the foreigner among them. 17 Judgment belongs to God; therefore, when you judge, do not look at appearances, but listen without distinction between high and low, and do not fear the face of man.
