Interlaminar Injections with Dr. Giuffrida

Interlaminar epidural injections introduce steroid medication into your back, in the area around the spinal cord called the epidural space. The medication helps with pain by decreasing inflammation and irritation of nerve roots and/or herniated disks. Unlike transforaminal injections, which are delivered in the intravertebral foramen, interlaminar injections are delivered to the dorsal epidural space between the lamina of the vertebrae.
