An Interesting Few Days in Outback Queensland! Eromanga Free Camp & Thargomindah Caravan Park Stay

Even though the weather conditions weren't playing ball, we had an enjoyable few days in the south western outback of Queensland. We started off in Charleville then headed west to Eromanga where we stayed in a free camp for a night. It was very windy whilst we were there but we did get to see an amazing outback sunset and sunrise! Perfect light for some photography. We intended to stay at Noccundra and visit the famous pub but the weather forecast caused us to head for Thargomindah where we stayed for four nights. (As it was there was a regional power outage due to vandalism as far away as Mitchell, Qld. The mobile services were down too!) The weather again was not great - dust storms and rain which turned the red dirt into muddy puddles. Anyway, we had a great time nonetheless because the landscape was alive with colourful wildflowers which were a sight to behold!
