Eshel: Acacia | Preaching the Trees | FPC Dallas

We continue our summer sermon series, Eshel: Preaching the Trees. Throughout Scripture, trees are more than scenery. They mark covenants, hold grief, signal callings, and reveal something about the character of God. This summer, we are gathering beneath ten biblical trees and considering how we are shaped by what we sit under. In this sermon, we gather beneath the acacia tree from Exodus 25.10–22. The wood used for the ark was not imported or rare, but local to the wilderness itself. What if God's work begins not with what is missing, but with what is already at hand?
