Abdulla Galadari: Jesus in the Qur'an, Intertextual Polysemy, and Qur'anic Hermeneutics
In this video I talk with friend and fellow scholar Abdulla Galadari. Dr. Galadari is an associate professor in Islamic Studies at Khalifa University. He received his Ph.D. in Islamic Studies from the University of Aberdeen and his work focuses on Qur'anic hermeneutics and intertextual relationships between Biblical literature and the Qur'an. He is the author of Qur’anic Hermeneutics: Between Science, History, and the Bible (2018) as well as Spiritual Meanings of the Hajj Rituals: A Philological Approach. He has written many important articles in both English and Arabic about the Qur'an and the Bible. I this interview we discuss Dr. Galadari's entrance into the field as well as his research.
