We went camper van camping in the spring… but ended up using a wood stove. Not exactly what we expected. After setting up our tarp and stove, we created a surprisingly cozy space despite the chilly night. Cooking pizza and soup on the wood stove, and grilling steak outside—it turned into one of the best camping nights we’ve had. The warmth of the fire, the sound of sizzling food, and the peaceful atmosphere made this trip unforgettable. We slept in the van and enjoyed a simple breakfast the next morning, but honestly… the night by the fire was the highlight. Sometimes, the unexpected moments make the best memories.
