THE BARE BONES OF A WW1 FORT - BREENDONK

We spend so much time going through tunnels and forts and bunkers, did you ever wonder what they would look like if completely uncovered? Well that is where we are going on this trip, one of the great forts around Liege a fighting fort of the first world war, and the HQ for King Leopold II during the second. Sadly it was preserved as a prison during WW2 but at least it was preserved and it in a most interesting way. you may note I am referring to this fort being in Holland it is in fact in Belgium .. blame it on jet-lag please :-) Please like and follow it really helps me continue bringing these from around the world to you.
