Join me today on our shooting range as we revisit our 1980's model Thompson Center Hawken 50 caliber muzzleloading black powder rifle. We are shooting Goex FFg (2FF) black powder, 75 grains by volume, .018 pillow ticking patch material, Trappers Mink Oil lube, .490 lead round ball and a #10 percussion cap. lets see if this out-of-production black powder muzzleloader is an accurate shooting rifle....or not.
