Passport Cover Embroidery French Knot Stitching // A Trip Journey Through Past Trips

A small side stitching project, sparked by being gifting by a friend, a lovely leather passport cover where you mark the places you have been with cross stitch. Not liking to go with the status quo, I decided that I would mark my visited places with French knots rather than cross stitch as I prefer the texture (and it would give me more places to mark!) I'm very fortunate to have travelled to quite a few places in my time, most of them are grouped in quite close proximity so the stitching is grouped into Asia and Africa/Europe. Given the times we currently live in and the stationary nature of lockdown, I decided to take this opportunity to satiate my desire to travel by reliving some of those old trips and sharing them with you.
