363 Miles Later | A Lynx S review
The longer I ride the LEAPERKIM LYNX S, the more I appreciate just how refined this machine really is. In this video I’m installing an EUCME seat, and I’ve got to admit something… The way EUCME designed this seat for the LYNX S is exactly what I hoped someone would eventually do. It stays true to the lines of the wheel, doesn’t add unnecessary bulk, and somehow manages to be incredibly comfortable without making the wheel feel oversized. After riding it, I’m officially a believer. It honestly feels like it belongs there. Speaking of riding… I’ve now put roughly 363 miles on my LYNX S. Somehow it feels like much more than that, but I suppose that’s what happens when you’re constantly bouncing between different wheels. Over those miles I’ve had a few maintenance items pop up—some things surprised me and a couple caught me completely off guard. Whether those issues are unique to my riding or not, I wanted to share them honestly because I think that’s part of giving a fair ownership experience. Here’s the part that impressed me… Several of those concerns have already been addressed by LEAPERKIM. That’s exactly what you want to see from a manufacturer. Nobody builds a perfect machine, but companies earn trust by listening, improving, and pushing updates instead of pretending problems don’t exist. To be fair, we’re starting to see more manufacturers moving in that direction. The community has become a major part of product development, and companies seem far more willing to listen than they were just a few years ago. That’s a win for all of us. Even with a few hardware hiccups along the way, nothing has changed the way I feel every time I step onto this wheel. The ride quality… The stability at speed… The absolutely ridiculous torque… The LYNX S continues to remind me why it’s one of my favorite wheels to ride every single time I take it out. I’d love to hear from you. Have you tried an EUCME seat? What maintenance experiences have you had with your LYNX S?
