Former President Evo Morales once again lashed out at President Rodrigo Paz, belittling him with a direct insult during a political rally. “We’ve defeated the Monkey, the Rooster, the Rabbit, we’ve defeated them all. How can a chicken beat us then?” Morales exclaimed. He referred to Víctor Paz as “monkey,” to Rodrigo Paz’s father, Jaime Paz Zamora, as “rooster,” and to Hernán Siles as “rabbit.” “Of course, little chick, if we defeated the rooster, we’ve defeated your monkey grandfather,” he concluded.
