Tomatin Cù Bòcan Creation #4 | Whisky Review

https://whisky.com/p.php?id=TOMATCBCR4 Nosing 05:19 Whisky.com reviews the Tomatin Cù Bòcan Creation #4. Tomatin Cù Bòcan is an experimental whisky from the Highland distillery Tomatin, made from slightly smoky barley malt and distilled in limited batches each winter. Cù Bòcan means 'ghost dog' in Gaelic. According to legend, the inhabitants of the Tomatin area were haunted by a ghost dog, which dissolved into blue smoke and disappeared over the moors of the Highlands. Each bottling of Cù Bòcan is matured in different cask combinations to bring out the unusual flavors in the single malt. This creation matured in casks that previously contained port and cognac, a reference to the so-called Antrim cocktail: equal parts port and cognac, plus a splash of orange bitters and syrup, create the drink named after its inventor.
