Co čeká Prahu v roce 2026? Velký přehled novinek

Lots of new features and great improvements, as well as a few inconveniences – all of this awaits the people of Prague in 2026. We will reveal what they can look forward to in this video. What will Prague delight its residents with and what will definitely not delight them with? • After two years, the funicular will return to Petřín, but in a completely new form, designed by the famous Czech designer Anna Marešová. We showed what it will look like in a separate video:    • Lanovka na Petřín: velká proměna! Jak bude...   • If the tender for the contractor is successful, the necessary reconstruction of the park in Kampa will begin. It should include widening the paths, replacing lamps, installing drinking fountains and misters, or setting up new playgrounds. • Jiřího z Poděbrad Square should reopen in the spring after reconstruction. • The Vltava Philharmonic Orchestra in Holešovice should receive a building permit. The construction should also include much-needed renovation of the surroundings. You can find out everything you need to know in our recent video:    • Vltavská filharmonie za 11,65 miliardy: Př...   • The Industrial Palace at the Exhibition Grounds, which was completely destroyed in a fire in 2008, should reopen around the middle of the year. • The brand new Dvorecký Bridge, which connects Smíchov and Podolí, is also set to open. It will be designed for pedestrians, trams and buses. • The metro is also preparing news. After reconstruction, the Českomoravská station on line B will be reopened. On the other hand, two stations on line A will be closed for repairs – Flora from February and Hradčanská from August. • Construction of the section from Ruzyně to Kladno will begin on the high-speed railway. We will reveal more details in a separate video:    • Největší dopravní událost roku - nové nádr...   • We are waiting for the construction of new tram lines – from Libuše to Nové Dvory, from Malovanka to Strahov, via the Žižkov freight station to Jarov and perhaps even a line to Dolní Chaber, Zdípe and Sedlec. • Trolleybuses will also see further development. They should start running from Knížecí to Jinonice, beyond Karlovo náměstí to Strahov and from Hradčanská to Bořislavka. • A new bus line, the so-called tunnel bus, connecting Prague 6 and 8 should be created. • Despite the metropolitan plan, which has unlocked the construction of up to 350 thousand apartments, the price of housing in Prague will continue to increase. • Construction of the Savarin project will begin in the center of Prague.
