Projects that will change the face of Prague. Locations that developers are vying for and where real estate prices will skyrocket in the future. What are we talking about? Construction that is underway or planned above the oldest of our metro lines – above line C. We will guide you through all the plans gradually, station by station… Letňany The city and the city plan to build apartments for 10,000 people and offices for 8,000 workers between Mladoboleslavská and Kbelská. A new military hospital is also to be built here. The PPF group is planning offices at the roundabout between Prosecká and Tupolevová, and a new district for up to 16,000 people is planned to be built near the current sports airport. Watch our video about the metropolitan plan:    • Metropolitní plán: Kde se bude stavět a do...   Holešovice Station A major transformation is planned for the local bus station – a joint project between the city, which owns the land, and developers CPI and EP Industries is in the planning phase and construction could begin in 2031. Vltavská The biggest project at this station will be the Vltavská Philharmonic. That's why we dedicated a separate video to it:    • Vltavská filharmonie za 11,65 miliardy: Př...   But the construction of a new district in Bubny for 25 thousand residents under the baton of CPI, J&T and other smaller developers is definitely worth mentioning. Construction of the first block should begin around 2032. Florenc The transformation that Penta is planning here is one of the largest in Prague. You can see for yourself in our recent video:    • Proměna Florence – místo autobusáku luxusn...   The 6 blocks should house 12,000 residents, and construction could begin in 2030. Main Station The biggest project is, of course, the transformation of the Main Station itself. If you are interested in what is coming up, check it out:    • Revoluční proměna Hlavního nádraží: Jak bu...   The construction of a new crossing over the main road will begin this year, and a tram connection between the Main Station and the Museum is planned. The most interesting project, however, is the new district that is to grow directly above the station tracks. Penta plans to build this, and it was inspired by New York's Hudson Yards. Budějovická Last year, Penta, together with the owner of DBK, bought the headquarters of Česká spořitelna, and it can be expected that the entire area above the metro station will undergo a significant transformation. There is even talk of building a high-rise building, which is not exactly common in Prague. Kačerov The architectural studio Aulík Fišer designed a multifunctional superstructure directly above the metro station with a footbridge over Michelská Street. On the other side, a development project with several blocks is planned. Roztyly Currently, the construction of the Sequoia office building is underway here under the direction of PasserInvest, and it could be completed in 2027. Its twin, Roztyly Plaza, has been standing here for some time. The third planned project should be the Arboretum building with 650 apartments. Opatov On both sides of the metro station, Finep is building a district called Nový Opatov. A new square or P+R parking lot for almost 500 cars is also to be built here. Háje The Duo Galaxie project was supposed to be built at the metro exit – two 22-storey high-rise buildings with 276 apartments, shops and offices. However, the construction is being held up by Prague 11, which has appealed against the building permit due to the height of the buildings. The same is being blocked by the project in Arkalycká Street, where a 17-storey building with 73 apartments was to be built. Another project is planned opposite the metro – developer Natland wants to build 360 apartments, a new square and a supermarket. What do you think about the transformation of the area around metro C?
