This is actually the first original song I ever shared and sang at the altar. I can still remember writing this on a breezy afternoon. The trees and plants were gently swaying with the wind, and somehow, my heart and soul were swaying too—following the melody that was slowly forming as I wrote the lyrics. That time, I wanted to write a song that would make listeners snap their fingers while singing along and giving praise to God. A song that feels light, joyful, and sincere. And true enough, when I listened to the transformed version, napasabay ulit ako—snapping my fingers while hearing it again after such a long time. :) This is a feel-good praise song that I offer to my most beloved tropa—si Lord. Kahit hindi ko Siya nakikita, ramdam ko ang bawat yakap Niya kapag nasasaktan ako. Ramdam ko ang bawat ngiti Niya whenever I achieve something. Ramdam ko Siya sa bawat ulan, sa bawat bituin, sa bawat araw, at sa bawat tahimik na sandali ng buhay ko. Siya ang kaibigan kong hindi nagbabago. Siya ang tagapagligtas na nagbigay ng Kanyang buhay para sa akin. Siya ang natatangi kong lahat-lahat. And that is what this song means to me: a simple, joyful, and heartfelt reminder that every breath, every season, every blessing, every pain, and every victory belongs to Him. Dahil sa huli, wala akong maipagmamalaki kundi ang pag-ibig Niya. Wala akong ibang maiaalay kundi ang puso ko. At habang may tinig pa akong aawit, patuloy kong sasabihin: Lord, Ikaw ang lahat-lahat ng buhay ko.
