Hiking tour with a family in Sarek National Park In this video you will you follow me (Matti) on a hiking tour with a family in Sarek National Park. With me I had a family of 4 kids from Belgium. During this trip we flew in to the border of Sarek National Park and there we established a base camp. From this camp we made several day tours in the surrounding. We got a lot of rain and also some periods with a lot of mosquitoes. This summer, 2020, the mosquitoes has been terrible during July. Some advice to families planning tours like this. Make a base camp. Don’t aim for too rough tours. If you make it to hard you will kill the happiness of outdoor life for your children. Make it fun and make it for the kids. If you want an expedition then you should leave your children at home. The family, De Bock, who followed me on this tour was used with physical activity. They were used with outdoor life, camping, traveling etc. That make everything much easier than if they had been beginners. Both the parents and the kids made a great job out there because it was not easy all the time, specially not with all the mosquitoes.
