Surviving a Fall Snowstorm in Sarek National Park - Late September 2023 In this video, Matti bring you along in to Sarek National Park. The goal for this Wildlife Expedition was to search for the famous Sarek moose and other wild animals like brown bears. This is one of our guided hiking trips that we offer on a yearly basis. This year we didn't know that we were going to face a very early winter storm. We first got a couple of nice days and we got to see really amazing northern lights one night, but then it turned into a wet and snowy winter experience. We all survived and made it in a good way but the level of comfort was kind of low… It was actually so low that we decided to leave Sarek one day earlier than planned. At the same time as we where in there, the mountain rescue had to bring out people from the area who didn't manage because of the snow storm unbearable freezing and injuries.
