This route climbs through rugged terrain with steep sections and exposed ridgelines. The trail demands solid fitness and early starts, especially in summer when shade is limited and temperatures climb. You'll navigate rocky switchbacks and gain over 4,000 feet to reach the summit, where views span from the Pacific to the San Bernardino Mountains. Check current conditions before you go, sections may still show fire damage and trail markers can be faint in places. --- Disclaimer: Some of these links are affiliate links where I'll earn a small commission if you make a purchase at no additional cost to you.
