Replacing Fork Seals on My 2000 SV650 (First Time)

Replacing motorcycle fork seals looked simple... until I actually tried doing it. In this video I replace the leaking fork seals on my 2000 Suzuki SV650 completely by myself for the very first time. From building a DIY motorcycle stand, to fighting seized fork caps and damper bolts, to replacing the fork seals, bushings, dust seals, fork oil, and adjustable fork caps—this project turned into a much bigger job than I expected. If you've ever wondered whether a beginner can work on their own motorcycle, this video is for you. I make plenty of mistakes, figure things out as I go, and show the entire process so you can learn from my successes (and screw-ups). 🛠 Parts & Tools Used (Affiliate Links) Fork Oil: https://amzn.to/4vyjleo Fork Oil Level Tool: https://amzn.to/4xODhet All Balls Racing Fork & Dust Seal Kit: https://amzn.to/4xODhet As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. --- In this video: • DIY motorcycle front stand • Removing motorcycle forks • Replacing fork seals and dust seals • Replacing fork bushings • Setting fork oil level • Installing adjustable fork caps • Reassembling the front suspension • First impressions after the rebuild If you're working on an SV650, replacing leaking motorcycle fork seals, or just starting to learn motorcycle maintenance, I hope this video helps you avoid some of the mistakes I made.
