A Remarkable Family Story

This was one of my school projects last year. Thank you, Chanel and May May for letting me film you. May May is such a bright and generous person and has the persona of being the happiest person in the world. She dances to random music on the street and loves capturing everything she experiences on her phone. When I first met Chanel, we went to a book reading and a gallery with some "weird" art. At that time, I thought this girl was as weird as her mom, hahaha. All I knew was that Chanel was writing a book about social justice, that she and her mother were both writers, artists, creators. Today is March 8th, International Woman’s Day, and Chanel has become an inspirational voice for women everywhere. I would like to share this video I made about Chanel and May May in appreciation of how they have enlightened me.
