MICHIGAN AVENUE (501 SESSIONS) (Live Performance from VOL. 2)

To honor the projects I made in my first North Carolina apartment, I created the 501 sessions: a 9-volume series of the songs I wrote & produced while living there. Each volume crosses into a different theme found in the songs within it. This second volume is about overthinking relationships. Entering into a relationship is always such a vulnerable thing. You’re putting yourself out there for the other person, and it’s such an easy thing to overthink. I’m a big-time overthinker, and both of these songs are representative of times when I’ve overthought myself, my role in the relationship, or just the relationship itself. It’s hard to separate your real experience from your own thoughts, not really knowing anything but your own perspective. This is one of the two featured tracks, “michigan avenue”. Stay tuned, there's so much more to come. Watch the rest of the 501 sessions here:    • 501 SESSIONS   Learn more about me: avarosemusic.com
