630 (501 SESSIONS) (Live Performance from VOL. 1)
To honor the projects I made in my first North Carolina apartment, I created the 501 sessions: a 9-volume series of the songs I wrote & produced while living there. Each volume crosses into a different theme found in the songs within it. This first volume is about missing home. Leaving Illinois and moving across the country to North Carolina wasn't easy as I left family and friends behind that I miss often. And while North Carolina has been so great to me and has helped me believe more in my music and my artistry, it of course doesn't make being far away any easier. So while this is the journey I'm so grateful to be on, this volume honors and acknowledges the challenge of leaving comfort and familiarity behind.
