Saying Goodbye to Aka : Why I Had to Rehome My 18-Inch Super Red Arowana?

It’s been a while. This video wasn’t originally planned, but I felt like I owed you guys an explanation before moving forward. I’ve been wanting to make more meaningful, educational content about Arowanas , Koi and Marine Fish—especially a proper Part 2 where I break down how to select and grow a baby Super Red Arowana. But I couldn’t just jump into that without telling you what really happened over the last few months. This video is the full story of Aka—my 18-inch Super Red Arowana. From bringing him in, to the challenges I faced, to ultimately making the decision to rehome him. There were a lot of ups and downs, and a lot of lessons that came with it—some things I did right, and a lot of things I’d do differently today. Also, a quick update on why I’ve been gone for almost 3 months… My laptop genuinely gave up on me 😭 First, it couldn’t handle the editing software anymore and kept overheating. After fixing that, the display started acting up, and eventually the screen just completely died. So yeah… editing wasn’t exactly an option for a while. But we’re back now—and this is just the start.
