I Couldn't Keep Being Everything to Everyone

Meet us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?... Have you ever felt like everyone needed something from you—and somehow you were expected to keep holding it all together? If you're longing for a place where you can be honest, find encouragement, and know you're not alone, welcome to Coffee, Chaos and Grace. In today's video, I'm sharing the moment I realized I couldn't keep being everything to everyone. For years, I believed that being a good mom, friend, teacher, and caregiver meant always saying yes, always being strong, and always putting everyone else's needs before my own. Eventually, I learned that trying to do it all wasn't making me a better person—it was leaving me exhausted. We'll talk about people-pleasing, letting go of perfection, setting healthy boundaries, and discovering that taking care of yourself isn't selfish—it's necessary. Sometimes the strongest thing we can do isn't carrying more. Sometimes it's having the courage to admit we were never meant to carry it all alone. A little about me: I'm a 63-year-old teacher, mom of six amazing children (four through adoption), divorced, and living with Psoriatic Arthritis while navigating weight struggles and life's unexpected twists. Like many women, I've spent years trying to meet everyone's expectations, and I'm still learning what it means to extend the same grace to myself that I so freely give to others. If this conversation encourages you, please like, subscribe, and leave a comment answering this question: What's one expectation you've decided to let go of? Your story could encourage someone else who needs to hear that it's okay to ask for help, set boundaries, and choose a healthier way forward. ☕ Thank you for being part of Coffee, Chaos and Grace. My hope is that every video reminds you that your worth isn't measured by how much you do for everyone else. You are enough—not because you can do it all, but because you are uniquely and wonderfully you. #HealthyBoundaries #CoffeeChaosAndGrace #YouAreEnough
