The Hardest Person to Forgive Was Me | Coffee Conversation

Join me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?... Have you ever found it easier to forgive everyone else than to forgive yourself? If you're looking for a place where you can be honest, find encouragement, and know you're not walking through life alone, grab a cup of coffee and join me. Welcome to another Coffee Conversation on Coffee, Chaos and Grace. Today we're talking about something many of us quietly carry: the weight of our own regrets. For years, I found it easier to extend grace to other people than to myself. I held onto mistakes, replayed old decisions, and expected the younger version of me to have wisdom she simply didn't have yet. In this conversation, we'll talk about why self-forgiveness can feel so difficult, how guilt can keep us stuck, and why giving ourselves grace doesn't mean excusing our mistakes—it means allowing ourselves to grow beyond them. If you've ever wished you could go back and do something differently, I hope this conversation reminds you that your past doesn't have to define your future. A little about me: I'm a 63-year-old teacher, mom of six amazing children (four through adoption), divorced, and living with Psoriatic Arthritis while navigating weight struggles and life's many unexpected turns. Through every chapter, I've learned that healing isn't about pretending we never made mistakes. It's about learning from them, extending ourselves compassion, and continuing to move forward with hope. If this conversation encouraged you, please like, subscribe, and leave a comment answering this question: What's one lesson you've learned that helped you finally extend a little more grace to yourself? Your story may be exactly the encouragement someone else needs today. ☕ Thank you for joining me for another Coffee Conversation. My hope is that every time we sit down together, you're reminded that you don't have to carry yesterday forever. Give yourself permission to grow, to heal, and to believe that you're still becoming the person you're meant to be. #CoffeeConversation #SelfForgiveness #CoffeeChaosAndGrace
