Banded Scapular Rehab – Part 1 | Shoulder Exercise | London Bridge Sports Medicine

This video introduces the first part of a banded scapular rehabilitation programme – a series of progressive exercises designed to build strength and stability in the muscles around the shoulder blade and shoulder joint. Working with a loop of Theraband, the programme moves through four stages: wall-supported arm raises (with the option to add a squat), high plank hand movements, press-ups with the band in place, and a lying chest press with hand weights. Each stage builds on the last, so work through them in order and only progress when you feel confident with the current level. These exercises have been recommended by the clinical team at London Bridge Sports Medicine as part of a structured rehabilitation plan. Always perform them as directed by your clinician.
