PART 7: Version 2b Stick-fxd neutral, 1st forward CG eval, dynamic stability analysis.
Improvisation Design of an LSA using SURFACES 2.8. The complete series shows how to design an aircraft in an relatively improvised fashion, using the aircraft design software Surfaces Pro, version 2.8.62. The series also uses the textbook "General Aviation Aircraft Design" in places. In particular, Part 7 determines the stick-fixed neutral point of Version 2b, determines AOA and de for cruise and stall at two different CG locations. Also, the dynamic stability of the aircraft at a typical cruise/occupant load is determined. Important advise on software validation is provided.
