Like & Subscribe. At the end of November 2007, Fiat introduced the third facelift of the Siena (also known as the Siena G4) to the Brazilian market. And, for the first time, the brand made an effort to distance the sedan from the Palio's look. To achieve this, the Siena adopted new double-parabolic headlights, a new grille, and a redesigned bumper, as well as new taillights reminiscent of some Alfa Romeo models. The equipment list remained virtually the same, but in 2008, all Siena versions came with power steering as standard. The engine lineup was also updated, making the 1.0-liter flex-fuel engine more powerful (now with 73/75 hp). The improvement also affected the 1.4-liter flex-fuel engine, which jumped from 80/81 hp to 85/86 hp. The GM 1.8-liter engine was the only one that remained unchanged. In 2009, Fiat began selling the Siena EL, a more basic version with the Palio's front end, a 1.0-liter engine, and a shorter equipment list. In 2011, this version also offered a 1.4-liter engine, while the names of the other trim levels changed from ELX and HLX to Attractive and Essence. Other new features introduced around the same time included the addition of the 1.6-liter 16V E-Torq engine (115/117 hp) to the Essence, replacing the old 1.8-liter engine, and the arrival of the Sporting version, which featured the same engine. After the arrival of the new generation of the Siena, which came out in 2012 under the name Grand Siena (read more below), Fiat continued selling the Siena EL until October 2016. In its final years, the model was sold in the 1.0-liter 8V with 75 hp and 1.4-liter 8V with 86 hp, with prices ranging from R$36,800 to R$39,610.
